Remote Access: Working From Home Or Away From The Office
Before You Start Using Remote Access
- Confirm that your device (corporate or personal) is set up for remote access to IMF resources, including Library Network Resources. For assistance, contact the IT Helpdesk or call +1 (202) 623-6631.

Corporate Laptops
Option 1: Pulse Secure for Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network (SSL VPN)
- Click Start.
- Go to All Programs > Remote Access Services > Pulse Secure.
- Log in with your username, password, and SecurID passcode.
Option 2: Citrix
- Both web-based and regular Citrix clients are already installed on all Fund standard computers set up for remote access.
- Open a browser and type https://remote.imf.org.
- Log in with your username, password, and SecurID passcode.
Personal Laptops and Desktops
Citrix
- Download and install the Citrix client on your home machine using one of the following links:
- Windows operating systems: Follow the download instructions at https://remote.imf.org/vpn/ica32/windows.htm.
- Mac (OS X) machine: Follow the download instruction at https://remote.imf.org/vpn/ica32/mac.htm.
- Other machines? Download and install the appropriate Citrix client directly from Citrix.
- Open a browser and type https://remote.imf.org.
- Log in with your username, password, and SecurID passcode.
